Whats happen Country Taste Farm 7-30
Raccoon's, Deer, Skunks, and Possums yes we have Possums in Minnesota. Sweet corn is the preferred taste for these pest even though there is many acres of field corn right next to the sweet corn, with out some preventive measures they would damage 90 percent of a one acre sweet corn field. Possums eat the whole ear, Raccoons take one bite and will knock down 25 stalks in one night, Deer eat the top of the corn ear and stalk usally they will only eat a couple dozen the whole season, skunks usally only eat low ears.
