Perfect Growing conditions: We have had some light rains and lots of warm weather. Vegetables are growing rapidly.

Whats in Your CSA Share this week.
Broccoli
Cucumber
Lettuce
Snap Pea
Kale
Napa Cabbage

How to Store your Vegetables
Broccoli :
In a plastic bag in the fridge do not wash till ready to use 3-4 days
Cucumber:
In a plastic bag in the fridge do not wash till ready to use 1week
Lettuce:
Store leaf Lettuce in loosely close plastic bag in the refrigerator don't wash until ready to eat 1week
Peas in Pod Or Snap Peas:
In a plastic bag in the fridge do not shell peas till ready to use 3-5 days
Kale:
In a plastic bag in the fridge do not wash till ready to use  5/7 Days
To Freeze 1. Wash thoroughly & cut off woody ends 2 Blanch (plunge into Boiling Water) for 2 minutes and chill quickly in ice cold water 4 Drain Off excess moisture, pack in air tight containers or freezer bags.10-12 Months
Napa Cabbage:
In a plastic bag in the fridge do not wash till ready to use 4-5 days
