Whats Happen At Country Taste Farm

This past week End we had a hard freeze which slowed the growth and we luckily did not plant any sensitive plant outside. We have looked at the present growth rate of our plants and determent
The First CSA shares will start the Week of June 6th we will send out the schedule for delivery and pick up on May 31st.

This week we will finish planting Tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers in the High tunnels. The majority of our direct seeded vegetables will be in the ground also.

This week we will picked up the Bees on Thursday, I took some Pictures. I did not get stung great for my first time. Professor Marla Spivak U of M Extension Entomologist who taught the class I attended this winter stated that Bee Stings have been proven to help cure arthritis, so I might want to try a few but I am not quite ready. Marla Spivak has been awarded the prestigious “Siehl Prize in Agriculture.
